School Registration 2026-2027

Step 1 - Online Registration

Registration will be open from Wednesday, June 3, 2026, through Tuesday, June 30, 2026. If you have any questions regarding registration for the 2026-2027 school year, please contact us at 847-327-7700.

New Students who have just moved into our district, please contact Christi Forshall (Steiner). Transition Pathways Supervisor at 847-327-7701 for more information.

The first day of the 2026-2027 School Year is August 10, 2026.

Login Information

Click on your student's name at the top left of the screen (if you have multiple students, you will have to do registration for each student)
Click on the "Forms" icon in the left-hand menu
All registration forms must be completed. There is an icon to the right of each page that will show the status of the document. Please note that if you change your address or contacts, it will show "pending review" until verified by staff.
Click submit on the bottom right of each page to navigate to the next page.

**If you are new to D128 and have not created a PowerSchool account or have issues accessing your account, please see below.

To link a student to your PowerSchool parent account, you will need an Access ID and Access Password for each new student. If you need your student's Access ID and Access Password, please contact us:

Step 2 - Pay Registration Fees

Log into your parent PowerSchool account and choose Balance from the left hand menu. Once your student's fees have been displayed, you may click on Make a Payment in the upper right of your screen and you will be redirected to the webstore to pay your fees.

You will need to set up a web store account if you are a new parent to District 128 or if you have not previously used the web store.

Registration Fee $325
The activity pass is being removed. In its place, all D128 students may attend home athletics and many fine arts activities at no additional fee. Some events (IHSA playoffs, musicals, festivals, etc.) will still require an admission fee.

If you are unable to pay your registration fees, please complete the online Basic Fee Waiver application or print and complete the paper Basic Fee Waiver application for each student in your family. Please make sure if filling out the online form, when you get to the portion to upload the documents, remember to click Send Files after uploading. You will then need to return to the form to submit the rest of the information.

Step 3 - Proof of Residency

Incoming Pathways students and Returning families, if you were directed to provide proof of residency, you must complete the residency form in PowerSchool and upload the residency documents that you would like to use for verification. If you cannot complete this process online, please contact Teri Maine, at 847-327-7700 or teri.maine@d128.org

If you were not requested to provide residency, this step is complete.

Step 4 - Medical Forms Submission

Please submit all Medical forms before the first day of school.

Upload Electronically:
Submit student health documents by logging into PowerSchool, clicking on your student's name in the top left of the screen, then selecting FORMS from the left menu.
